          LTC SCUBA Centre offers training from introductory snorkel through to SCUBA Instructor.

Snorkeling can be an adventurous and fun activity for the young and the young of heart.  This course will train you in the basics of safety, equipment care, selection, and snorkeling techniques.  Learn to snorkel with confidence, for enjoyment at the cottage or while on holidays.

Our initial SCUBA certification allows you to explore the underwater world without the need to surface as in snorkeling.  This course will train you in the basics of safe SCUBA diving, equipment assembly, safety procedures, and diving protocols.  Learn to be a safe and comfortable diver.

Our advanced SCUBA certification expands upon your basic knowledge and experiences.  Your expertise is increased allowing you to dive safely in a broader range of environments.  Explore deeper dives, night dives and navigation situations while increasing your confidence and maintaining the safety and comfort you have come to expect.

Our Specialty courses allow in depth experience for areas which particularly interest you.  Learn to handle the added demands of deeper diving or the joy of gliding through the water with a propulsion vehicle, the possibilities are almost endless.  A sample of our most popular specialty courses follow, contact us with your specific interest and we will discuss it fully.

  • Includes lecture & open water evaluation 
  • Learn safety procedures & protocols for both diver and tender
  • Student must supply suitable SCUBA equipment except ICE Diving gear which is provided, (ask for details)
  • Certification card upon successful completion
    • ACUC or SDI

    MASTER DIVER SPECIALTIES (This is not a Divemaster Course)

  • We offer the NAUI Master Diver Specialty and the ACUC Master Plus Diver Specialty
  • These courses have different and specific requirements please contact us for further information and pricing
  • The ACUC Master Plus Diver Specialty requires:
  • ACUC Advanced, Rescue, 3 ACUC Specialties of the diver's choice, First Aid and Oxygen certification
  • Student must supply suitable SCUBA equipment
  • Certification card upon successful completion

    • NAUI SPECIALTY  

    • "Grumpy Old Diver"
    •   This course can serve as a refresher for a certified diver who has not utilized their skills recently or
    •     a fun way to meet other "experienced divers" and obtain a NAUI Dive "GOD" Specialty card
    •   Requirements, over 40 years of age and a certified diver for a minimum of 10 years
    •   Our lecture evening will also be a social; contact the shop for details
